This is the continuation of Cole’s IMMORTALS AFTER DARK series, and I’ve eagerly awaited it since reading DARK DESIRES AFTER DUSK. It involves a little-used story arc in romance — the heroine kidnaps the hero, and the hero later gets revenge — but I’d seen it once before in Johanna Lindsey’s PRISONER OF MY DESIRE. I loved this book, but it’s not for those who just want a light-hearted romp — the characters are definitely darker, and like most paranormals the story is a bit edgier. If you’re into paranormals, though, this is a definite recommend.
